No surprise that distracted driving is a major cause of car related injuries and deaths. In fact, it is estimated that roughly 35% of motor accidents fatalities are a result of distracted driving. The results reveal the top causes of distracted driving, and make it clear that not all distractions are created equal.

Distraction refers to the term anything that takes your attention away from driving can be distraction. Sending text message, talking on cell phone, using navigation system, and eating or drinking while driving are few examples of distractions. So avoid these distractions and be safe while driving. Distracted driving is the main cause of accidents. More than 79% accidents happened by distracted driving.

Rules and guidelines for drivers

The Government of India has amended the new and updated list of fines if anyone who is not obeying the traffic rules and not follow the guidelines issued by the Government of India (Ministry of Transport and highways). The provision of challan for not obeying the traffic rules and guidelines is updated by the GOI in September 2019. In the new list the provision of minimum penalties is increased by 5-10 times than the previous one.
